I couldn’t leave “Breakthrough” all lonely as the only sunny yellow floral. The warm yellow with shades of pink on this mini painting just make me happy. It’s so ironic because yellow has been one of my least favorite colors (not that I didn’t like it - it was just much lower on the list) but the more florals I paint the more I find yellow necessary. Reminds me of what my Mom said - every arrangement of flowers needs some yellow.
